Music education is an integral part of a quality education, just like reading, writing and arithmetic. Because of it's very nature, music happens to be one of the best ways for a child to gain that education due to the ways in which the mind is used in order to play with both hands and read music at the same time. This creates and trains the brain to new capabilities that one can function. Basic theory, chord and scale concepts, and music reading are so much easier to learn and understand which then sews the seeds for a healthy brain and educational foundation.

Musical lessons, for many, aren’t the end of the road. It's just the beginning. Music lessons are the foundation for the study of almost any other instrument in existence.

So, whether you are looking for an enjoyable after-school activity for your child, or planning to undergo the exciting journey through the ABRSM, RGT or Rockschool grades - we can help.

Rachel Dreese

Rachel's love for singing started when she was eight years old where she attended a weekend theatre school. When she was twelve years old, she began classical singing lessons and it didn't take long for her to realise that she wanted to become an opera singer.

Rachel gained a place at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to study vocal performance for her Master's Degree and previous to this has four years vocal training with the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Rachel has ample performance experience including concert and opera performances in the Royal Albert Hall; the Floral Hall at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; performances in Ilford Town Hall and the Kenneth Moore Theatre; Charterhouse London and the Mermaid Theatre.

Alongside her solo performance work, Rachel also thoroughly enjoys giving vocal training and believes it is not only important to teach the technicalities of singing but also how to inspire singers to perform and really enjoy themselves in the process.

Rachel is now thrilled to be joining the Performing Arts Team at Tutorial Ltd.
